If I overclock my CPU, would the FSB be automatically overclocked or would I also have to configure that?
Is it even possible to overclock the FSB?

What are the cons/pros of JUST overclocking the FSB of the CPU, and of course the pros/cons of NOT overclocking the FSB?

Overclocking your CPU is to either raise the multiplier or raise the FSB (frontside bus).

So what you're saying is...that overclocking the CPU overclocks the FSB?
I thought it overclocked the core-speed of the CPU, ie 2.2ghz to say 3ghz.

But the front side bus is different than the core speed. CPUs always have a lower FSB than their actual core speed..
I don't understand. :|

If you want to do some "extreme" overclocking, then you have to lower the FSB, with some MB's its going lower itself, example: my E5300 2.60Ghz 800FSB processor is running on 3.60Ghz and 333FSB.
